Steps
- •Mark your wardrobe footprint on the floor with masking tape.
- •Confirm door swing clearance and socket/pipe positions.
- •Lock your dimensions: width = smallest measurement − 2–5 mm tolerance.
- •Sketch bay layout (rails, shelves, drawers later).
Quick checks
- Measure width in 3 places (floor/mid/ceiling) and use the smallest
- Check ceiling dip + skirting/coving obstacles
- Decide bay count (2 bays recommended) and internal layout
- Pick finish approach (painted MDF, veneer, or ply)
